About Multidimensional Anxiety Scale for Children

The MASC is a 39-item self-report questionnaire that assesses anxiety symptoms concerning the last 2 weeks in children and adolescents. Items are scored from 0 to 3 (0 = never true, 1 = rarely true, 2 = sometimes true, 3 = often true). The internal consistency (.90) and 1-month test-retest reliabilities (.87—.90) (March et al., 1997) are very good. Cronbach’s a in this study was .87.
