About Coping Mechanism Scale

This scale is composed of twenty-eight coping scales. Subjects were given a list of coping strategies and asked to check the ones that they used to cope with life situations. The fatalism factor is composed of six items with a Cronbach’s alpha of .68 (McCrae, 1984). The six items for the Coping Mechanism Scale appear as items 219 to 224 in Table 2.
