About The Physical Well-being Scale
This scale was originally a sub-scale of FAHI (Functional Assessment of Human Immunodeficiency virus infection) quality of life instrument, developed by Cella, McCain, Peterman, Mo, and Wolen (1996). This scale consisted of seven items (sample items, I experience pain, I have nausea), rated on a 5-point ratio scale ranging from 0 (Never) to 4 (Always). High scores on this scale indicated a low level of physical well-being and vice versa.
