About Powe Fatalism Inventory

Fifteen items were drawn from this measure. These items were in a “yes” or “no” format. Powe (1995) performed a factor analysis on the scale and all items loaded on one common factor. This measure has a reliability coefficient of .84 (Powe, 1995). The fifteen items for the Powe Fatalism Inventory appear as items 252 to 266 in Table 2.
