About One Item for Seatbelt Use Study Scale
This item was used to measure fatalism in a seatbelt use study (Byrd et. al, 1999). This question was measured on a four-point Likert-type scale and it correlates to observed seatbelt use with r = 0.16, p = 0.007 (Byrd et. al, 1999). No other psychometric properties were reported.
