About Internal-External Scale by Reid and Ware
This scale has 32 items and three subscales: Social System of Control, Self-Control and Fatalism. The Fatalism subscale was chosen to be in the study. It is composed of twelve forcedchoice items. The correlation between Fatalism scores and Rotter’s scale is r = .71 (Reid & Ware, 1974). The 12 pair items for the Internal-External Scale appear as items 17, 18, 23, 22, 164, 165, 29, 166, 167, 40, 24, 168, 169, 6, 170-173, 1, 2, 174, 175, 176, and 177 in Table 2.
