The Journal of the Pakistan Medical Association (JPMA) is a leading biomedical journal in Pakistan that was founded in 1953 as a quarterly publication. In 1957, it became a monthly journal. JPMA has the distinction of being the first Medline indexed journal from Pakistan, achieving this status in 1975. Since 2010, it has been included in the journal list of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors.
