Secondary Sex Characteristics

Secondary Sex Characteristics

These are the physical features other than reproductive organs that distinguish men from women. Unlike primary sex characteristics which are the main sex-specific reproductive organs (i.e., ovaries and testes), secondary sex characteristics are nonreproductive sexual characteristics such as breasts (on females) and an adam’s apple on men.
