Primary Sex Characteristics

Primary Sex Characteristics

Men and women both have hair on our heads, our face, etc. However, primary sex characteristics are body structures that are specific to sex. Females have ovaries whereas men have testes. These are primary sex characteristics because they are specific to the sex of the person (men typically don’t have ovaries) and are related to reproduction.
