Modularity

Modularity refers to the idea that there are self-contained areas in the brain that store mental processes such as the “lower-level” reflexes. According to famous linguist, Noam Chomsky, the human brain has a distinct area in the brain that functions specifically to help us learn the language. He referred to this specialized area as a module.
