Causation
You are probably familiar with this word as it relates to ʻcause and effect…which is a very important phrase in psychology and all science. Causation is the demonstration of how one variable influences (or the effect of a variable) another variable or other variables. When one variable does have an effect on another, you can say that you have ʻcausationʼ.”
