Acoustic Environments

Acoustic Environments are the acoustic or sound-propagating qualities of a physical environment. In addition to
sound intensity (i.e., loudness), an important feature of acoustic environments is reverberation time: the time taken for a sound to decay 60 dB. Perception of sound inside differs from that outside because of reverberation.
