The academy also has published the Annual Review of Eating Disorders Part 1 (2007) and Part 2 (2008), two clinically oriented books synthesizing the literature of the field, and has authored numerous position papers and media advisories. Founded in 1993, the AED is headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois.
