About Fear and Avoidance Questionnaire
This 35-item questionnaire addresses various factors (staying in a building alone, sleeping in a building, entering lower floors of a tall building, etc) that are often feared and/or avoided by earthquake survivors. The scale allows for rating both the presence and severity of the symptoms. Each item is coded from zero (very easy) to 3 (very difficult). A total score was computed (range, 0–105 points) for the analysis.
