About Manzil Organization Balochistan
Manzil Organization Baluchistan is a not for profit and non – governmental organization, established on 17th December 2007 by a group of young Development Professionals, Human Rights Activists, Researchers, Media Professionals, and Political Activists. Manzil Organization Balochistan got registered under “The Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration and Control) Ordinance, 1961” (Registration No. DSW/1366) MOB is engaged in advocacy, campaigning, community mobilization, research, networking, challenging anti-poor policies, plans, and actions at local, national and international level with different coalitions. Since its inception, MOB has covered at least 07 districts of Balochistan and has worked to ensure a peaceful and secure environment within communities.

Manzil Organization Balochistan goal is to eliminate poverty and violence from society by means of encouraging human rights and civic education culture. MOB has been at the forefront of organizations calling for the integration of civic education and human rights concepts into the entire society; not only at the local level but also at the wider Provincial Level.
Manzil Organization Balochistan has developed a transcultural model of the “Right to Health” approach and commitment to social justice and change in the region by examining health in the context of people’s life –moving beyond the individualistic approach in order to include extended family, social, cultural, political, religious and economic conditions.
The model is based on analyzing the links between health and human rights focusing on the community approach and development. Such a model has been developed through capacity building, professional advancement, professional credentialing, and the ability to act as ethical change agents in a constantly changing environment by empowering family and community initiatives in alliance with existing community resources. MOB has distinguished itself for its leading position in the region as an organization of excellence in capacity building, professional practice, and its critical analysis of the linkage between basic health and human rights.
Manzil Organization Balochistan is proactive and innovative in efforts to alleviate inequalities in health, education, and women’s rights making family empowerment more accessible and culturally acceptable while providing each individual with dignified service. MOB has gained distinction for our critical analysis of the contextual linkage between health and human rights, and contribute creatively to the local, regional, and global right to health approach movement and prevention of torture.
Manzil Organization Balochistan will achieve this by basing health practice and research on the philosophy of “Right to Health” approaches and the holistic framework of people’s rights where the focus is not only on the mind, body, and spirit but also on the context where individuals live. MOB also works for the development of unprivileged and less developed communities and responds to disasters in disaster-prone areas to make sure all human exercise equal rights and get equal opportunities for development.
Manzil Organization Balochistan believes that health professionals have a strong role in building bridges for peace, democracy, and human rights through community empowerments and professional’s developments. We extend our hands to all individuals and nations who are interested in human rights, dignity, and respect regardless of their race, color, religious background, and political MOB filiations.
