The Video Game Rating Sheet by Craig A. Anderson is a research instrument designed to assess the levels of violence and other potentially harmful content in video games. Administration, Scoring and Interpretation

  • Introduce the scale. Explain to the participant what the scale is measuring and how to respond to the items. For example, you might say something like, “This scale measures your satisfaction with your job. Please read each item and indicate how strongly you agree or disagree with it by circling the appropriate number.”
  • Read each item aloud. Do not read the items all at once. Instead, read one item at a time and pause to allow the participant to respond.
