Down’s Syndrome

Down’s Syndrome is a genetic condition that typically causes some level of learning disability along with certain characteristic physical features. In general, it is not an inherited condition and results instead from a chance of chromosomal aberration during conception. In some cases, genetic screening can help assess the likelihood that a baby will be born with Down’s Syndrome.
