Jewish Women’s Aid is the only charity in the UK working with Jewish women, and their children, affected by domestic violence. We run a helpline, client support service, counseling service, and education, training, and awareness-raising programs.

We are recruiting a: SESSIONAL QUALIFIED CHILDREN’S THERAPIST IN MANCHESTER

2-7 hours per week depending on demand

You’ll have an exciting opportunity to deliver therapy to the children of our clients in Manchester. You will work in the wider community to provide individual therapeutic support for children affected by abuse and support mothers on parenting issues.

The work will be Face-to-face in schools or remotely due to COVID-19 restrictions.

We are looking for an experienced qualified children’s therapist who is enthusiastic, proactive, and creative. You will have a relevant therapeutic qualification and experience of working with children. You’ll be passionate about the idea of supporting young people to come to terms with their experience of abuse. Knowledge and understanding of domestic violence and the Jewish community is also essential.
